Good morning — here's where gold and silver stand on the AT Jewels counter this 10 September 2026, and how I'm reading the days ahead.
In short (10 September 2026): 24K gold is around ₹1,54,300/10g and 22K around ₹1,41,440/10g; silver is about ₹2,49,900/kg. Prices are holding steady with gold pinned near its recent range and silver quietly firm, as markets wait on this week's US inflation data — a sideways-to-steady read for now. These are indicative India reference levels — AT Jewels' live counter rate is the billing price.
Today's rates at a glance
- 24K gold: about ₹1,54,300 per 10g (indicative)
- 22K gold: about ₹1,41,440 per 10g (indicative)
- Silver: about ₹2,49,900 per kg (indicative)
These are indicative reference levels for India. The only rate we bill on is AT Jewels' live counter/board rate at the time of purchase — ask us in store or on WhatsApp for the exact figure.
What is moving the market this week
It's a big week for prices, and most of it is happening outside India. The US releases its wholesale inflation figures today and its main consumer inflation number on Friday, and the Federal Reserve meets on 15–16 September to decide on interest rates. Traders are sitting on their hands until they see those prints — hotter inflation tends to weigh on gold, softer inflation tends to support it — so the tape has been range-bound rather than trending.
Underneath that, a few things are quietly supportive: the US dollar is near a four-month low, the rupee has slipped to around ₹95 a dollar (a weaker rupee lifts the price we pay for imported gold), central banks have kept buying, and crude oil back above $100 on Middle-East tension adds a safe-haven bid. Silver has firmed a touch more than gold and is being helped along by industrial demand, though it always swings harder in both directions.
The near-term view
My honest read is sideways-to-steady into the weekend. Gold looks likely to hold its recent band around ₹1.53–1.55 lakh per 10g unless this week's US data surprises sharply either way; silver is firm but I'd treat it with a little more caution because it can move fast. If you're buying for a wedding or a festival, my advice is the same as always: buy by your need and your date, split larger purchases into parts, and don't chase a single green or red day. Dates matter more than trying to time the last rupee.
Frequently asked
What is the gold rate today in India?
24K gold is around ₹1,54,300/10g and 22K around ₹1,41,440/10g (indicative). Your final price depends on making charges, GST and AT Jewels' live counter rate at the time of billing.
What is the silver rate today?
Silver is about ₹2,49,900/kg (indicative) today.
Will gold prices go up or down this week?
Nobody can say for sure. With US inflation data and the Fed meeting all landing this week, expect gold to stay broadly rangebound and reactive to those numbers — steady rather than one-directional, in my view.
